They were really good friends, pretty much inseparable. Cam was quiet and intimidating, while Hector was kind and a prankster. They met at a military base, both being marines. Hector was the first to even attempt to talk to Cam due to everyone else being afraid of him. Cam was happy that someone would talk to him, and he listened to everything Hector had to say. He started to help Hector with his pranks, and if anyone tried picking a fight with Hector, Cameron would come in and save the day. One day, the two were offered a chance to undergo testing to enhance their abilities. Hector was excited, Cam wasn't so sure, but he just followed along with his pal. The testing was intense, and proved to be a massive strain mentally. Cameron was fine, and managed to become stronger than he already was, but as Hector's tests continued, his mind started to change. His IQ rose sharply, and he gained strength, but he lost his mind. He became paranoid and thought that everyone was against him. As his friend slowly started to fade, Cam tried to help him, but there was nothing to be done. After an argument leading into a terrible fight, Hector ran away and Cam quit the marines. Cam would go on to live in a forest, defending a village from beasts, while Hector would grow to become a successful yet vile business man. He would go to create weapons and commit crimes.
