Trying to work out my character Lou a bit more.
There was a candy store on the corner that he used to love as a kid. 100 years later and everything but him has changed. Now it's just a gas station with typical crumby food. He still goes there often, just before the sun comes up and it's still dark. He likes sitting by the window and staring out into the pitch black. It's relaxing for him.

And yes I know the sign should be flipped if he's sitting indoors but.... uh...
