Adoption of I091 & I106
I had scheduled to check out some Neravontiis at the Agency, after taking to Logan about adopting two Neravontiis. One stallion who is timid and unable to be around other Neravontiis, while the other was a mare who needed an experienced owner. I notified all my head staff about a meeting, and had all meet up after all were done with any current ranch chores. During the meeting I had discussed what Logan so far knows about the two Neravontiis we were taking in. The staff and I had agreed we put the two in paddocks neighbored. This way we get to know their behaviors and if the two could seem to get along, they'll be placed in a small pasture together after they've been bonded with and halter trained. While my staff had arranged two paddocks, I got ready to go to the Agency. I got changed into a clean pair of cloths, then got a trailer ready. I decided safest to take one of my larger trailers that could keep the two separated during travel. After I had gotten ready, I let my staff know that I was leaving, then called Logan. I got in my truck then left my ranch. when I arrived at the Agency, Logan had the two Neravontiis ready in loading pens. When I got out of the truck I searched for Logan then headed off to sign adoption forms. After we had taken care of the forms, Logan had explained more about the two Neravontiis and that they both could be a big task. We had left his office, then headed for the pens that my two new Neravontiis were in. I parted with Logan and headed to my truck to bring it to the pen, and to back the trailer up to the gates. Logan got started on opening the trailer. I hopped out of the truck and went to help Logan load my two new Neravontiis. We had gotten the mare loaded first so that the timid stallion would by chance see the trailer a safer place. Once we had gotten the mare onto the trailer we got the stallion ready to load, I moved my truck to back the trail up by the other pen. The stallion had spooked and jumped back when Logan opened the gate. I walked up to the trailer and just stood in open space but not to put pressure on the timid and insecure stallion. Logan directed me to stay put as the stallion knows Logan. I watched as he got the stallion onto the trailer. Logan and I hurried to get the trailer closed then hoped for the best that he will not panic too much during his ride home. We had let the two settle for a bit before I turned the truck back on and drove. After a few minutes things had gone quiet. We said goodbye then I had headed to the truck to go back to my ranch with both the stallion and the mare.
