why is it their favorite?: Kris has always found himself struggling throughout life. He’s never been the smartest, the strongest, or the fastest in anything. He’s felt out of place for most of his life, trying to get the attention of his peers but never quite getting it. He’d dropped out of college and mainly gave up on his future by the time he was 21. He didn’t know if he was just the Goliath, destined to be pushed down to further someone else’s life. When the fishing boat he was hitching a ride on got caught up in a storm and crashed into the beaches of the nearly deserted island housing the beginnings of Chexfort, Kris knew he needed to take a stand in his life. Kris refused to let his failures hold him back anymore, and went toe to toe against his insecurities. He kept working at learning how to build houses for the town, despite of how many times the planks fell apart before he got it right. He may not have all the answers to know what his future will hold, but he will continue fighting to make himself happy.

why is it their favorite?: This song is what Tanaka considers to be his motivational song. He's always felt as if his life was rather dim as he was never a social being and prefered to stay within the background where he couldn't be seen. He was also very soft spoken though he always had ideas that he wanted to share with others, yet he never truly had the courage to do so. Though when he first heard this tune, he felt as if the very song was singing straight to him. He needed to break out of his shell and start to show the world who he truly was. He needed to break free from the shadows that he lived in and that he couldn't go back to that world that he was living in.
