Prompt: Most assume Spiderstep's namesake comes from the dark colour of his pelt and his venomous attitude. However, Sleetstar actually chose his name the first week of him appearing in the clan. The hot sands burnt his unaccustomed paws and, unlike other cats, caused him to walk like a spider trying to cross an ice lake. She thought it was hilarious and, when he finally joined the clan, gifted him with the name. Her intentions weren't malicious, she intends for him to one day break out of the aggressive shell he has surrounded himself with and understand how far he has come by his name.
He fully understands the meaning Sleetstar has behind it, but if anyone asks he doesn't know anything about it.

"Fine! Honeykit."
"I like that," The She-Cat smiled. "What about the last one? The tom?" Her mate thought for a moment. The dark kit stirred, causing a disturbance between all three kits.
"How about Ebonykit?" The mate mewed.
"Doesn't that mean dark...?"
"Well, kind of, but it means more than that to me," The mate touched noses with his mate.
"Well, if you say so," The she-cat huffed. "I like Dewkit more, though," The mate stepped back, surprised. "Like clarity, rain, I just... it feels right."
"Dewkit it is."
