Their Favorite Activity: Magpie threw herself into the rushing water, a fine spray of cold water showering up in her wake. Her nose left a trail of bubbles as she kicked her large paws and moved smoothly through the water, as if she had been raised by otters her entire life. Large trout darted by, desperate to get to their spawning sites before the weather chilled again, and she swiped her clawed pad out skillfully and hooked one on the end of a talon, throwing it up out of the water and onto the back. Her head bobbed above the water for a moment, water streaming down her maw and chest fur as she watched with frustration when the fish flipped back into the safety. The brindle and white lioness returned to the shore and shook out her short fur, settling down on the warm smoothe rocks to try a different tactic. Magpie crouched down with her shoulders bunched, her __ eyes darting back and forth as she watched the fish flutter by. Seeing a thick shiny body gliding towards her from downstream, she slowly shifted her weight and waited for the perfect moment. She struck her paw into the water and clasped the writhing fish between her paws, nipping it's neck swiftly and dropping beside her.

Their Favorite Activity: Despite her other pride members, Mahealani loves to swim in Lake Kivu that the pride resides by. Her morning routine consists of a quick swim before setting up patrols, and she'll even swim afterward depending on if she hunted as well. Mahealani's excuse is that she gets bloody and needs to clean herself. The others just drink or briefly bathe in the water, but she could spend hours in the lake. Sometimes she'll refuse to get out on a hot day and just drift on the gentle current.
