Going to write a small horror story starring three main characters, at first I thought this guy, Joseph, would be the smart one who knows they're all going to die if they split up, but then I remembered he's incredibly pessimistic, he already thinks they have no chance of getting out alive, and would rather die alone than surrounded by people because he's just that much of an introvert.

The rest of the crew:
Cherry, she's the fighter, ready for everything and can probably turn a tub of icecream into a weapon, no one in the group would be surprised if she did. Strengths: Can-do attitude, skilled and strong. Weakness: Untrustworthy and has trust issues.

Jon is the friend who doesn't want to be here and offers dumb solutions like splitting up. Can be unsympathetic at times despite wanting the best for his friends. Strengths: Dumb luck, loyalty and having been on the track team, so he's pretty fast. Weaknesses: Judgmental and has bad ideas.
