As much as I amuse myself with the concept and design, after finishing this I realized I wouldn't have the time to properly develop yet another character. Soooo

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?: My man just really likes flamingos, flamingos are pretty rad. Seriously though, ever since he retired from spy work he decided he'd need a hobby. He was wondering about what it would be an then looked into a window to see a plastic lawn flamingo. b o o m. now he has thousands of them. He loves all of them, they all have names. Their name is wrote on the underneath of them. Hardly visible, but still there.

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?: When he was a spy several of the flamingos contained a button to his underground base, and they could turn into several weapons. Also, his youngest daughter loved flamingos, but she passed in a car accident along with his wife. So he keeps all the flamingos as a memory of her.

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?: when he was little, around 8 years old, he loved flamingos with a passion. he drew them everywhere on his schoolwork and textbooks. he loved them. he grew up living in a small town in Chile, and one day, to his delight, he encountered a flock of flamingos. despite his persistent efforts to approach one, he could not. they all flew away. he was devastated.

Percy moved to Chicago in his late teens, finding his job as a spy there. one of his years as a spy, all of his co-spies decided that on their day off they wanted to go to the zoo, and not bring percy. they came back the next day with photos of them next to the flamingo enclosure, and showed them to percy to taunt him. percy was furious. he called it quits after that.
after he left his work as a spy, he decided to make up for all of his missed opportunities by buying every single flamingo in stock at Home Depot and placing them on his lawn. the flamingos bring him comfort and stability because he doesn’t really have many friends, because his mean coworkers would always poke fun at him and backstab him. due to that he gained trust issues and has trouble meeting new people.

every day he brings home a new flamingo to add to his flamingo family. the cashiers at the Home Depot always know he’s coming and has a flamingo ready at the counter for when he comes. they don’t hold suspicions like his neighbors do, they just love a reoccurring customer who has a strange hobby.

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?: He built some when he was really young because they were super easy to build (not that his parents appreciated it, but it kept him out of the kitchen and stopped him from harassing them). Eventually there were so many that his parents began to sell them off one by one, but as time continued, they always returned back to the place they were built. Max has taken apart a few to see why they are coming back, but they just keep coming back - like roaches.
If I gave you this design, would you really use it?: 100%, I'd draw him 24/7 and write wayyy too much.

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?: You know, he didn't really know at first either. When the world ended he just happened to have a dumb looking plastic flamingo in his yard. No zombie would come onto the lawn with the looming figure of the weird little flamingo. So now, every night he raids the old stores to grow his army. He's got a plastic yard flamingo of every type, Santas, skeletons, wizards, and ones covered completely in glitter. It's quite the sight during the zombie apocalypse.
If I gave you this design, would you really use it?: Yess !! I really only use human characters so that's already a go, plus I love his design and I've been looking for characters for a universe based off a dumb zombie dream I had once ! He'd fit right in !! Also he's just,, fjdjdjf he's super cute 😳

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?:

Alan used to be the world’s most amazing spy. He was able to catch anyone and find anything. Able to sneak into any space. Until one day he met a mission he couldn’t complete. He came home missing his legs and other severe injuries. He became unstable. He wasn't able to operate properly. He lashed out against anyone who turned down his words.
He was sent to a quiet small suburban city where he lived with no neighbors. If he tried to leave the property of the house, there were the flamingos on the lawn. If he stepped off the proximity a flamingo would taze him. He received weekly groceries to keep him healthy and anything to entertain himself as long as it wasn’t a lethal weapon or gives him access to the outside world.
For 4 years he lives alone in that house on white st. No contact, no neighbors, only the grocery guy and the flamingos. But what if one day someone moves in nextdoor? Will he get along with this new person? Will he learn to be a stable citizen of society once again? Will he ever work for the government again? Is his new neighbor part of a meticulous plan? We might never know

If I gave you this design, would you really use it?:

Yes! He'd be a super fun character to explore in stories and I don't have many human characters. I don't do many realistic like fiction stories so having a story about a spy? that'd be an amazing topic to explore and research with friends and maybe I could incorporate him into stories I have in progress.

Tell me, what's with the flamingos?: they all have their own technological abilities and/or weapons! All kinds of different stuff. Wing machine guns, home security, transformer style robots, l33t H4x, etc. He built them himself, they’re very inconspicuous. The lawn deco is a bonus.
If I gave you this design, would you really use it?: yes! I don’t always draw my human characters very much (I’m not good at drawing them), but they all have pretty in depth stories and headworlds that I like to think about. This guy would probably either be in the same universe as my cop, Wilkes, or in the sci-fi comic I’m working on, but I’m undecided.
