Hi there! My name is Lurk, and welcome to Haeven!
I'm glad you're here- we've been running low on promising leaders lately!
There are plenty of phae around here who need an
alliance to join... maybe it could be yours?

Wait, you don't know what an alliance is? Well, read on then! Make
your own alliance of phae and help us defend our beloved planet!
Maybe your alliance could even become the largest or strongest one
in all of Haeven!

When the universe became so littered with
various energies, materials, and minerals, these elements came
together and were forced to compress. The compressed elements
formed creatures called “phae”, who now inhabit the planet of
Haeven, a small one not far from our own. No one knows exactly why
the forms they took on share a likeness to common domestic cats,
but those who believe in the gods say that they shaped the creatures
in this way because they believed cats were a symbol of luck, fortune,
and magic. The gods were said to each have favored many different
breeds of cats, which are expressed through phae.

Phae have magical abilities due to being born from compressed
moonrocks, stardust, sun rays, or comet debris. However, some phae
have lost these abilities due to being bred through milleniums worth
of generations. Some had mutations which caused the mana in their
bodies to dwindle to almost nothing, and when these bred with each
other they became more common. While there is a very, very small
trace of magic left in them, it is not enough to align them with any
element or allow them to use any magical abilities. Often the
magic-less will choose an alignment to guide themselves by, even
though they can’t technically harness it.

Phae are intelligent creatures. Since their creation, they have
transformed the valleys, forests, mountains, and other vast landscapes
of Haeven into a bustling hub of trading, combat, and magical practice,
as well as a sanctuary for the phae who are continuously being created.
However, phae are not the only creatures that inhabit Haeven, and
threats of darkness from all corners of the planet have started to loom
over their refuge. While phae don’t appear to age (with the exception
of growth from kit to adult), they are not immune to physical harm,
and can be injured or even die if wounded fatally. Because of this, phae
from all over Haeven must come together in order to fend off the
shadows which threaten their peaceful existence.

including founders, customs, or breedings.
Guest artists will be expected to create at least 2 adopts within
their one month trial period, and will not be able to create
founders, customs, or breedings.

species. Do not attempt to copy them or create your
own phae.
ii. The concept of Haeven is owned by me,
lyttlekytten, and is not up for reuse, with or
without modification.
iii. Please be kind and respectful to other
users and staff at all times.
iv. You need to register an alliance to have
access to all aspects of the game! Read the how
to play section to learn more.
v. Warnings and reminders will always be
given out before bans.
vi. Do not edit your phae's original Oekaki
artwork.
vii. Everything must stay CS appropriate.
viii. Please read and understand all of the
rules and guidelines before beginning the game.
ix. Phae can be traded or gifted within
the species, but you may not sell them for C$
or other currencies (in-game or real life).

Getting Started

✩ First you'll need to create a storage thread for your alliance. This can be formatted however you want, but it must at least include space for your phae and your inventory. You can create this in the storage forums, or use another CS approved storage site such as TH.

✩ Next you'll want to fill out the founder form (located at the top of this thread) and post it to this thread in order to receive your first phae. Once you post your form an artist will claim it, and then we just ask that you wait patiently for your founder to be completed. The artist will choose the traits of your phae, but you can choose its element and one word that you want to describe how it looks! You'll be notified via DM when your founder is finished (either through CS or Discord).

✩ After that you can start levelling up your phae. Each phae have their own levels, and they can be levelled up through activities like prompt writing/art, scavenging, and battling (to be introduced later). The higher level your phae is, the more things they can do!

✩ You aren't limited to how many phae you can own, so feel free to enter for the adopts that will regularly be put out as raffles, contests, and auctions! Although, it might be difficult to try levelling up a ton of phae at once.

Levelling

Every phae starts at level zero, and can be levelled up through different activities in the game. The higher level your phae are, the more things they can do and the more enemies they can take on. Here are the features of each level:

Level One: After your phae reaches 50 EXP they will be level one. At this level they can be submitted for breeding.

Level Two: After your phae reaches 100 EXP they will be level two. At this level they can be entered into battles of both kinds.

Level Three: After your phae reaches 200 EXP they will be level three. At this level their magical power will increase.

Level Four: After your phae reaches 350 EXP they will be level four. At this level their magical power will increase.

Level Five: After your phae reaches 500 EXP they will be level five. At this level their magical power will be at maximum, and they can fight the highest level bosses to receive the best rewards.

You don't have to get approval every time your phae levels up, but it will be your responsibility to keep track of each one. If you are found to be boosting your phae's EXP without properly fulfilling the necessary tasks, it may result in a ban. Please don't take advantage of the honors system!

So how do you level up? Every day you can choose one phae to send out on a scavenging party, after which they will earn 10 EXP and possibly bring back items! You can also complete writing or art prompts to gain EXP, and the amount given out will be detailed with each prompt. In future updates there will be battle systems implemented through which you can also gain set amounts of EXP.
