I see many styles of grass so I decided to share how I do mine ^^

1. Create a basic sky and draw the grass line.
2. Add different hues and colors to the grass. This is a simple Light to Dark shading but to get more colors to show through I suggest a more patchy coloring.
3. Select the blending tool and set it to size three. Start near the top and make quick, upward strokes in a grass-like pattern.
4. Repeat over and over in layers (Tedious, but worth it ^^). The layers can be slightly spaced, but if the grass patch is large I suggest to make them closer together.
5. Finish the grass. If you want to add more colors, you can take an airbrush and put it on a light opacity (maybe around 10 ish). Some airbrushed clouds may add some accent to the sky. I like the add some sunrays al lot of times too. (:
