Pulin loves autumn. He loves how much cooler it is than summer, no longer sweating in the sweltering heat, unable to do too much while the sun remains high in the sky. He loves the way the wind flows through his fur, whispering secrets and bringing the smell of the last few flowers that are brave enough to create seeds before the oncoming winter. He relishes the longer days, the more plentiful prey before the winter sends storms and cold to bite into prey and predator fur alike. He uses every hour of the day while the weather is in the in between stage, just over boiling everyone alive to thinking about freezing everyone instead.

But the best part? When no one is watching he leaps, brilliant oranges and reds making the most satisfying crunching noises as they are broken under his form. Sometimes he catches himself almost purring as he rolls in the driest and largest leaves turning them into a fine powder. They make such a nice smell too! What could possibly be better than rolling in autumn leaves? Well, as long as noone sees him acting like a cub, it would totally ruin his reputation. Cant have that, but the allure of crispy leaves is too much for him to resist.
