Quilas have haloes on their "heads" or "hearts", depending on the dominant
side of their brains! If they are logical and calculating, and work well with
numbers, their head is the focal point! If they lead with their heart, and are
extremely in touch with their emotions, as well as more creative, their heart
is the focal point! Each halo (Multiple can sometimes appear) is strung with
little symbols and reminders of the Quilas traits and personalities.

defensive about?: One day will aqua was asleep her mom left to find food, she was killed. Now she is like a guard dog. She protects everyone she loves.

Dante is very defensive of the ocean, as his heart is one with the sea. He lives right next to one of the most popular oceans, people are always walking up and down, splashing the water. He has to use every muscle in him not to jump out and attack a person who litters on the beach, because he watches and feels helpless as it drifts off into the ocean. One of the cleanest beaches, has been turned into wastelands, when he swims in the water he once called home, he always gets some sort of garbage or bottle stuck on his foot. This has driven him to be very protective of the very little clean water we have left. (120 words)

defensive about?: They keep everyone at a distance. But Dorian is not a loner by any means. In fact he's the life of the party. He only wishes that he could share his true thoughts and feeling with the people around him.

defensive about?: Damien is defensive about his friends, if a stranger tries to talk with any of his friends he gets really overprotective.

defensive about?: About getting hurt by the ones closest to her. So she rarely opens up to others to protect herself from the heartache. It can take months to years for someone to gain her trust. Once gained though it is easy to lose if you do end up hurting her.

He stood in the shadows, watching, waiting. And then one of them approached him. "Go away," the Quila growled.

"Why should we?" the other one laughed - a vile sound. It was mocking him.

"Go away," he repeated dangerously. His halo flared.

"And what will you do if I don't? It's not like you can do anything about it."

And that was true. Cobalt could do nothing to ward of his enemies, just as his family before him. He was weak. Defenseless, compared to the other Quilas, and he hated it. His enemies would always be stalking him, no matter what, always whispering words of threats into his ears, but he refused to believe them. Because defensive wasn't the same as defenseless. He could be both.

defensive about?: they're defensive about the people around them. they've got a lot of love in their heart and they really want to give to those around them, but coming from a troubled past and suffering survivors guilt, they don't want to bring people too close to them. they try to keep their friends at a distance, but would stand up for them no matter what.
