The world was loud and strange to the young colt.
Buddy, was having his first time out in the herd, they seemed unfazed by the new entry. He took in the world around him, the lush green grass like soft velvet on his hooves, the flowing river that reflected the sky with all its beauty. On the high rocks above him and his mother, stood a tall stallion, though not his father. His name was Tommy and the mare next to him was Donna, she was a lovely mare, kind and gentle. Children loved to braid her mane or paint on her with chalks which she just stood for happily. Currently her mane and tail had bows in and her coat had a heart pattern.

He watched two stallions in front of him, one a dark bay, his father. A rather stubborn and temperamental stallion. In front of him a jet black stallion with a thick blaze, more gentle and kinder than his father though not by much. Their names were Guinness and Fosters, stallions he would never want to grow up like. In front of him, was a skewbald mare, Gypsie. She was a much older mare who took a deep interest in the little one as she’d never had foals of her own due to medical reasons.
Other horses around him included :
- [ ] Butterscotch and Amber : They were both very clingy mares to their humans so usually stood at the gate and waited to be back inside.
- [ ] Valarie : A red chestnut mare who has a few white patches, and pink bows in her mane. A solid built mare who was head strung and barely controllable on a lead rope rather than being ridden so is usually left out in the field.
- [ ] Oceania : A dark buckskin mare, with blue bows and a sliver coloured mane along with uneven socks and a white blaze straight down her face. A stubborn mare who doesn’t enjoy being second much like Valarie but more controlled.
- [ ] Ombré : A somewhat roan coloured mare who had orangey red bows. She had a thinner blaze that went down her face, she was a much calmer and sweeter mare following in the path of Donna.
- [ ] Marble : A piebald stallion, with a singular black and white braid in his tail. Normally around Bastion, but he has flashy blue eyes. He’s a moody stallion and doesn’t like change or to be ridden in any tack if at all.
- [ ] Bastion : A dapple grey gelding, With a kind sweet face and loving personality, he’s close with Marble who always keeps him by his side. He didn’t like being separated from him either.
- [ ] Reaper : A jet black stallion who has no interest in socialising with other horses. He enjoys standing in the water because he’s left alone or if he’s tired he’ll go into the cave for rest.
- [ ] Ashe : A grey mare, thick dark mane with a broken blaze so it went over half her face but not the other. She is a roan type in colour, who is currently pregnant with her first so can be a bit rude and controlling not want others close to her.
- [ ] There was also another who Buddy had no idea who or where they were but hoped to meet them soon.
