Wow this was kind of hard.
not 100% proud of this one but I know that there is a large earning curve to get over so I hope I can find good methods to learn for the shading etc.
note to self: don't mess with colours just with the burn and dodge tool lol. also probably start with the eyes closer together especially at this angle
I noticed i shaved off more and more of the face as I went along but hey Im getting better at it so I think im good.
definitely doing a different style next time.
I hate drawing hair. Hope that changes soon lol

hey there! are you painting all of this on one layer? if not, i highly suggest making a shading layer on top of the drawing and setting it to "multiply"! i usually use a medium shade of purple, with the layer being set at 20-40% opacity. it creates a better color variety than the burn tool.

or if you're painting, it'd do you wonders to pick up shading techniques with color theory! i still feel like purple is the best choice for shading brown hair, but i'm not very familiar with painting myself if i am honest.

Id love to be critiqued, thank you for your shading advice! ill definitely try it cause I dont know how to use layers like that yet haha.
I am trying to improve lots and having people give me advice is definitely something that would make me better (especially since I dont know how to use all the tools haha..)
