Hey there! I've decided I want to give this species thing a try. With this being said, I'm hosting a competition for people to create me a species and win a prize! Maybe a pet prize or two will be added later, but for now it's just the C$ for the winner.
For your species you'll be creating, you can make a species that already exists (such as a dog or cat perhaps) or something completely new! I would really love clean lines that show off the body. Please PM me on here exactly if you have any questions or concerns, as that would really help. You may also post them here if you feel the need to do so!
With all of this said, let's get into the basics of the rules.
1: Art theft will NOT be tolerated. Be original. You will not only be exempt from the competition but if your art is EXTREMELY on the lines of theft, you will be noted and most likely reported.
2: Once a winner is picked, I now own that species. Anyone else can use their species creation for whatever they want- they can even sell them. But whenever you're picked as a winner, the species is now mine and I own it. You must allow me to make adopts, get staff to make some, taking the base and species in general offsite (in which case you will be credited for the lines), and anything that falls along these lines.
3: I am NOT looking for off-oekaki / offsite entries. They must be on here only.
4: Either have your layers (such as extra traits etc) showing, otherwise add me to the drawing so I may look at them and see how I like them. It's hard to judge if I can only see so much.
5: Do NOT touch Hubble's signature. You don't own the background.
6: If you use covers, it can only be for if you have multiple entries. But even then, I would rather you make them separate instead, without covers.
7: If you don't win, please don't whine. I'm not going to deal with it.
8: I can cancel this at any time I want to, as LONG as no prize(s) have been sent. However if there are entries and I cancel, each person will receive a reward for participating <3. After that (if it happens) and if you made an entry, you may use that how you like.
9: Please don't criticize me on my likes/dislikes or rules. They're there for a reason.
There is not currently an end date! Perhaps one will be added later on, but for now, you have as much time as you might need. However, don't take too long! You never know if I end up really liking an entry and want that one immediately.

- Color Palette
- Tongue / Eye / Nose / Paw Reference
BOOSTERS:
- Lock Alpha Coloring (PLEASE).
- Trait Options (i.e. tail types, horn types, etc. PLEASE).
- Lines that can be EASILY edited
- Shading?? Yes
- "Mutations" (higher ranked trait options)
- Species Name

- Reptiles
- Amphibians
- Underwater Creatures
- Dogs (such as large Greyhounds / Great Danes - I'd like leaner / shorter haired dogs if possible).
- New Creations
- Lions or Cheetahs (depends)
DISLIKES:
- Feathered Creatures (but it depends)
- Bird-like Features (i.e. beaks / bird legs)
- Horses (I love horses, but I don't want a horse species.)
- Extremely Cluttered Designs
- Something Extremely Difficult to Draw. (I love detail, but not so much where it's IMPOSSIBLE to draw.)
