The short-tempered dangerous mate of Petales de la Fleur.

The French names strike back! Translation: Light of the sky. I wanted to name him Lightning of the Sky, but apparently "lightning" is spelled the same way in both French and English. I like the way his name translated, though ^^

The background was fun to draw. I used my Oekaki-BFF the blender tool to make swirls in the background to represent clouds. I have a habit of removing the subject of the picture when drawing the background, then adding those layers back in, so after re-adding Lumiere, I realized that the clouds were really too light for such a dark-colored dragon. I had fun using the burn tool (something I hadn't tried on grays yet) to darken everything, and I'm pleased to say that it brought out the teal in the clouds.

I never noticed the lightning had a purple tint until I put it in front of a lighter background than the one provided!
