What made them so tired?:

Lore has a very important full time job - helping her home and ecosystem thrive! She directs various insects and species, from making sure they are safe during times of hibernation, to showing them where to drop off pollen to help the land thrive.

During fall she helps the local wildlife such as squirrels, bears, and snakes stock up on food before the harsh winter months! She ensures every little creature has enough to get by, and generously helps the elder creatures while they sit back and relax. Although fairly small, she has gained the respect of the wildlife in the area, including other much larger dragons.

Winter is quite a lonely season, although her job never gives her a break! She checks in on every animal throughout the week, making sure they go undisturbed if they are hibernating, or to check the food levels of those who suffer through the harsh winters. She has been known to fly hours away, carried off by her tiny wings, to find berries or seeds for others. She doesn't worry much about her own well being, she can even go weeks eating only a seed or two, too frantic to eat herself! She anxiously awaits the return of spring.

Animals chirping, grass crumbling beneath paws, and little seeds sprouting their first bits of green through the snow! Spring is the best time of year, all the insects come bumbling back, excited to help spread new life. All of the animals are much more hyper, energized by the warmth. She helps direct the insects on where to go and what flowers to pollinate, she lets the birds know where to drop off seeds to grow nice sturdy fruit and even trees, and she makes paths for the animals to walk on so that they don't step on any of the precious new life.

Summers are hot, humid, and tiring for any animal to be out in. She is not a fan of summers. If she can, she hides in the shade, watching as much as possible. She never gets a good rest however, because this is the time of hatchlings and babies! She is a babysitter, always covered in wyrmlings much larger than her and small forest creatures. Its a tough job for a little dragon, and she certainly has her work cut out for her, but who better than her to watch them?

She's a loving, kind dragon, who could certainly use a nap!

Lore is a soft spirit, full of love and joy. She's always in a bit of a rush and a bit clumsy, but is an extremely hard worker. She's a little awkward as well, but is a cute ditzy dragon who always tries her hardest.

She’s struggled with the condition since she hatched, no matter how much rest she gets she stays tired all the t i m e. But, fortunately for her, because of the condition she sleeps extremely.

What made them so tired?: As soon as the sun rises so does Amadis. With not a single second to waste she rises from one of the numerous nests that rest in the towering trees, her family light snores still filling the air. 

She has a busy day ahead, first gathering berries, squeezing beneath thorny bushes, climbing along thin branches and reaching as far as she can. Amadis tries not to tire her wings out this early though, she still has a lot left to do.

She lays all the berries in a pile in a hole in the main tree where her family sleep. Some members are now starting to wake up, a couple of hatchlings start to dart around Amadis, biting her antennae and tail. Theres no time to play yet though, she sends them back to their nests.

It's those same nests that Amadis is now looking for material for. She darts through the undergrowth, picking up each feather, clump of fur and then she flies higher to pick moss. Elders grumble when she gets back and disrupts their sleep to fix their bedding. Everyone else is awake by now, keeping youngsters out of trouble and enjoying a berry breakfast.

Just a quick snack before she hunts. This is where she's glad she avoided flying before. Now she needs as much energy as she can get as she dives at small enemies and prey alike. Mice, voles and small birds fill the gap where the berries used to be. Amadis discourages larger hawks and a few small and young dragons from travelling towards the nest, keeping the hatchlings safe. 

After all the hard work she heads to the river for a drink. Something reflects in the water. She squints at it a moment, cautious from tales of water dragons. A splash and she recognises it as dinner. Quickly she lunges bringing the fish onto land. It's almost half her size but slowly she half drag half flies it back for her parents. She's still panting from the effort as she lays it in-front of her father, his wing hangs limp but he breaks it up for his mate first, her front leg is still healing but her milky eyes crinkle up in happiness from the chivalry. It's a busy day and Amadis is completely exhausted at the end, but at least she helped her family
