Field is an adoption that is based upon building a battalion to fight a monster, known as "The Great Beast", and its minions. Although it is based on war, there is no gore and hefty topics are avoided entirely. Building your battalion is not required, but you will be very restricted if you do not. (Sorry, the general needs soldiers.) There is no base line for adopts, so things could get interesting with different artists' styles. However, there are only three species available in Field; wolves, winged wolves, and foxes. .

If you want to adopt and you don't yet have a commander, that's okay. Just adopt this one as your commander. All you have to do is write "Commander" under "Rank" and don't forget to make an archive for your battalion.

Prompt: Wind causes Ray's eyes to water as the sunshine filters through her fur. Sniffing the air reveals fragrance of fresh, clean, nature air and sunlight. Her feet fall in a line that leads to the light. Lifting her dark eyelids in the slightest reveals a crystalline setting. Stretched as far as the eye can see is all-encompassing light and the soft texture of what looks to be a golden meadow. Upon looking downwards, however, our dreamer envisions a ghost-like dog staring back at her. As Ray's naturally curious nature- that she luckily has handled better than a cat- makes her peer closer every time. And every time, like clockwork, the ghostly dog is shown to be her to her increasing dismay. Quickly, Ray jerks her head to the sun, the day, the light. Only it's gone. All is dark.

Running, running, running, always running. He would wake with his heart pounding and his chest heaving. He never quite saw what followed him, but he did know one thing: if he stopped running it would get him. And if it got him? He didn't want to know, but he was certain it would be bad - very bad. The first time he had the dream, running in complete darkness, stumbling every few steps, he woke confused but not scared. He figured it was normal to have nightmares every once and a while and only began to grow concerned after it had repeated itself three times. Now it has existed for weeks on end and his fear grows with it. Each time he feels himself growing weaker and he knows that soon he will have to turn and fight the monster - - -
