Lionstar had always been in the way. Now he wasn't.
"Good-bye, Father." Lillystreak whispered as the great cat let out one last ragged breath, his last life spent. His blue eyes shut as if he could not bear to see the identity of his killer. Lillystreak felt a smirk grow upon her muzzle. He always was so weak.
Turning away from the old leader of Forest Clan she headed towards the camp. She was sure there would be another fight ahead. Some of the Clan was still stuck in old ways. They would want their scrawny deputy appointed with nine lives. A growl sounded low in her throat. This clan was rightfully hers to lead. Only she understood how great they could become. She would do anything to take her place as its leader.
Even if it meant she had to kill again.
