Zephaniah's spot is in the petrified trees scattered around the camp of The New Guard. Even when she is off-duty, the sentinel lounges in one of the twenty petrified trees she claims as her nest. And nests they are! Since the stone-like trees are no longer living, there is no shrubbery to create a hiding spot. Zephaniah found the solution to her problem by gathering creeping vines. She transplanted them around her favorite trees and...in a month, her hiding spots were perfect.

If you want to find her, one has to check each tree by standing a respectful distance away and calling her name. The sentinel is quite shy and does not appreciate her privacy being intruded upon. Unlucky lions who try to find Zephaniah may have to try all twenty of the trees-- and of course, only find her on the 20th try.

No, she doesn't play games with her pridemades by moving trees-- that would be rude.... of course... Zephaniah would totally do such a thing.

Dark Vulture was never much for big groups. She enjoyed Willow Stone's and Forest Runner's company, but they were just boys. Sometimes she just wanted some quiet time to think things over. That's where she found her little cave. Behind the small waterfall, if you were careful, another cave was there. The splashing water and light reflecting into the cave just always soothed her nerves, and she knew no one else would dare come here, for fear of falling to a watery doom. Dark Vulture was told she was always graceful and never missed a step. She smiled at that and shook her pelt out, spraying little crystals of water everywhere. Waterfalls really was a perfect spot for relaxation, as Forest Runner always went on and on about, wasn't it?

Pauahi whenever in need of a rest or a break always had a place she could go to escape it all. By the river a small cave was formed by an overhanging rock. Dry and cozy she could lay there and listen to the sound of life that resided by the river. Fish jumping were a calming background noise that added to the charm of the place
