The forest is dark where you wander. There were signs pointing towards the trees, a path lined with candles until you reached the dry wood and then they stopped. Fire and safety hazard, you suppose.
You wander a little father in a straight line, just to make sure you don't lose the track, and then in the distance - a flicker. More candles?
You speed your steps until you're running, more and more eager to reach the lights each step you take until suddenly you burst out of the woods and into a clearing where a table is sitting. On it sits two pumpkins - one big, one small. Besides it is a box. The box has a very large "DO NOT OPEN" label on it so you decide not to open it.
Instead, you go for the instruction sheet hammered into the table.
Poor table.
How to Play
- each day a new pumpkin will be carved.
- you will be given a sheet to fill out - each question has only two answers and you must pick which one is correct.
- as the moon reaches its peak the pumpkin in the box will be revealed! if your pumpkin is carved in the exact same way you will win a grand prize!
- if your pumpkin has some similarities you will also win prizes, though the prizes vary depending on how many you get right.
Besides that, a stack of sheets is hammered to the table. You give one a small tug to see if you can get it off without much damage, but after a few seconds just have to rip it off the nail completely. And then you reach for a pen, and though thankfully it isn't nailed, it is sellotaped down. Who on earth set up this game?!
