prompt; Memorability is everything in the troupe. A circus that makes little impression on its customers isn't a circus at all, is it? So as the lights dim in the tent, his tail captures the audiences' attention, lashing back and forth like a whip made of knives. Red 'mirrors' on his mask reflect the light from his vents and tail, making his face glow as well. Soon, the circus tent is completely dark, save for the silhouette of a creature with a floating face and a jagged tail, moving erratically, hypnotically.

It's an act that only he can do. A performance that relies solely on the light from his tail.
He would not be here without it.

prompt; In all actuality, he's very blasé about it. The novelty wore off pretty quickly when he was younger, as he used to have to sleep under thick blankets just to make sure his room was dark enough for him to sleep well. It is quite an attraction for his troupe, though, he did have to admit. Even though he was only an assistant to a bigger act, they made great use of his tail to enhance her performance. If asked how he feels about it, he just shrugs and says "I was born this way", sometimes coming off as cold or arrogant, when in all reality he just doesn't care that much that it's "special" or "unique". If there is one reason he might like his tail, though, is because she loves his tail. Between acts, the main star of the performance he assist with loves to be around him, and will often pet it and compliment him endlessly. He only grunts in response, though, because words always fail him; she's so beautiful and talented, and he can never quite formulate a way to tell her how he feels, so he just stays nearby whenever she's meeting fans, helps her get ready for her show, and always makes sure her performances go off without a hitch.
