I decided to try my hand at building up my fur skills. This is a WIP that is not coming out that great. Anyone have any suggestions?

maybe u should put littli brown and yellow hilights in in the orange

dont make the tufts so fat. an animal would need to be extremely dirty for fur to stick together like that. try to make it a little more flowing by putting smoothing up a bit, picking a color and make lots of little lines (for short furred animals) do this repeadiatly with different color hues where you want them.
