There are a lot of good tutorials on YouTube! I was a mouse artist starting out, and it was different and tough to get into, but with enough time and practice it came naturally! After many years being a mouse artist, it trained my hand to be steady. This helped in traditional art as well. I now own an art tablet (love ya mom) and have been usin it for a couple years now! It too was tough to use because I didn’t have a display screen but it too came naturally. It’s pretty easy once you get the hand eye coordination down! Chickenpaint is a pretty basic art program, there isn’t too many features but it helped me understand what certain tools do! Firealpaca and Paint Tool SAI are also some good options, Medibang too! Just don’t get an art tablet right off the bat! I would try learning the programs first to be ready before jumping into something new at the same time. I’ve also taken years developing a style though it changes a LOT! Taking art classes can also help how you want to shape your art direction! I’m currently in graphic design which is completely based around computer drawn graphics. If you ever need any help with using Oekaki or any art program, feel free to PM me!
