Pollen-Tailed Flitters are a little sub breed of opossum that were accidentally mutated with bumble bees. Pollen-Tailed Flitters have pollen on their tails, thus giving them the name. Some mistake the pollen for paint, but whenever Flitters gather up pollen they release a sticky gooey substance to from the skin on their tail to hold the pollen in place, thus giving it a paint like look and texture. PTF do not mate for life, meaning they can mate as many times as they would like. PTF lay eggs, protecting the newborn pup inside and it's pollen supply. Once the pup hatches, it will already have some pollen on it's tail. Flitters cannot live without their pollen, if they loose the pollen in any sort of way (( which is very highly unlikely )) they have at least 24 hours to find some more pollen. Flitters cannot "fly" they can only hover. They can hover for quite a while, the longest on record was for 4 hours. A Flitter's diet mainly consists of bugs, leaves, flowers, and fruit/berries, thus making them Omnivorous. They are quite friendly creatures and often share their food hoard with other Flitters and smaller rodents.
