[Lostfairy]

Oh my goodness, I had such a struggle AND fun time with this drawing. XDD First of all, I absolutely hated it and couldn't get anything right and it was looking pretty gross. So I was like, "FORGET IT." and rage quit. XD But then, I looked at it today and I deleted a few layers, erased somethings, and fixed some lines and... I started liking it so much that I even made a more complicated background for it?? ;-;

This is actually a gift for my brother because he blew me away a few days ago. He really wants me to buy Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and since it's a big game, he told me he was gonna buy an SD card for my 2DS. But then, when it came in the mail, he also handed me a Nintendo eShop card for $20. ;__; It really blessed me so I asked him if I could something for him and he asked me to draw Miles Edgeworth. I really hope I drew him good enough for my bro! <3

That ruffly collar whatchamacallit thing. Dang. Ruffly clothes are just the end of me. x_x But I managed to make it look alright, haha. I don't know why ruffles are hardddd, I should practice drawing them more.

ANYWAY, the timer is mostly accurate, I used a mouse, it only took me two drawing sessions, and please don't steal or repost this! This was my main reference picture and this for background reference!

ahhhh this is SO pretty!! the shading is awesome and it really compliments the colors that you chose!! you did a great job with setting the mood of the piece, and the back ground,, ahhhh!! it just all comes together so perfectly and it just looks so great !! i really admire the background though, it just makes it seem so mysterious and intriguing !! also, can i just say that the ruffles look awesome??!? i have no idea how to draw them with a mouse, but you just perfected it!! it looks so elegant and flowy haha!
but anyways, this is awesome, great job <3!!!

SAME HERE. XD I think the hardest part for me is drawing the fabric, like, "under" the ruffle? I dunno, ruffles are just HARD. XD And oh really?! ;-; Thank you so muchhhh!! And yeah, haha, I have no idea what his character is like but from what I saw while looking up reference pictures, I think the name works, yeah. xDD

I thought the collars might be known as "Honiton Lace" or something spelled very similar to that, Then again it could have just have been referring to the finer quality of the material they'd been using as early lace was something of a status thing
