These adopts can't be traded or sold. They can only be gifted (and make sure the new owner knows they can't sell/trade them).
^ The exception to this is if the design gets art (and the art comes with the adopt when selling/trading). In that case the price is the value of the artwork (as the adopt itself is priced as free).
