Prompt: When Zarya opened her eyes, a ray of sun was enlightening her fur. She looked around; nothing familiar. "I must be dreaming" she said to herself.
She saw a river flowing nearby. "This must be enough to wake me up" so she approached to drink some of it's cold water. Nothing happened, so she jumped into the water fully. Still nothing.
Shocked, she was now convinced that it wasn't a dream. "Well, where am I then, and how did I got here?" These will be questions remaining unanswered.
Zarya tried to find someone who could help her, but there was nobeast around, so she decided to go find one. When she finally encountered a wolf, she asked:
"Excuse me sir, where am I?" The wolf smiled to her. "You're here, right in front of me". "No sir, what planet is this"
The wolf seemed sceptical, "Humans call it Earth, why you ask? Are you an alien or something? Where do you come from and what's your name?"
Zarya was surprised that she couldn't answer any of these questions. "I... I can't remember" she said.
Then, a strong emotion hit her "I don't even remember my name!"
Not only that she lost her home, but also she couldn't remember anything! All her memories, loved ones, her family, the place she called home, all of these were covered in a thick fog she couldn't pass. She felt her body like a jelly, and started crying with all her soul. The wolf realised she really is a lost soul who needs someone to be taken care of. He tried to make her feel better, without succeeding. So he invited her to the next village. "You may find what you're looking for there". The wolf couldn't know how right he was.
In the village they met a Nox member, the wolf storied all the happenings. The Nox offered to take her to their camp so her mind could be healed by their shaman. Zarya, without anything left to lose, accepted.
"Tell me, young she-wolf, what are they calling you?" Loki, the leader of the Nox asked.
She looked at him with immense sadness. "I don't know" she said with tears in her beautiful eyes.
"You will be known then as Zarya, the star of the morning, as long as you're staying among us. You're welcome to call this place your home and remain here as long as your heart desires".
