Around strangers, Tauxi is a bit out there in the way that he's extroverted to the point where it annoys some people. It's strange to some how he can be so excitable around people he doesn't know, and yet more quiet and reserved around those who are closer to him. So far, the closest that you could get to him is being the one he loves, and in that state- he'll seemingly try his best to not do anything wrong using the method of simply not doing anything. It's almost as if he sees closeness as less freedom for errors.

Tauxi works for a large mining company that works with stardust. Though he's the newest member to the team, he's welcomed with open arms and does a lot to improve the company. Due to his smarts and people skills, especially with those he's unfamiliar with, he's been able to make trade relations with businesses across the galaxy and bring in a good income so that the family that runs the mining company can keep themselves alive and allow them to care for their workers. Tauxi's proud of himself and this job, especially because it makes one starshine he knows happy.
