Why they wear the Skull: It covers the markings on their face- As they don't like the way it looks after an 'incident' happened. Their wounds healed over the markings making it look like they rubbed dirt on their face. Instead of being the nice markings they had before. Not many people know what's under their skull only close friends and family do.

Why they wear the Skull: He wears the skull to disguise himself. He was once a normal Wolfon, but an run in with a certain demon cat he burned badly and cursed with immortality. The skull covers the painful burns so they don't get touched in battle, as well as hiding that he's the Wolfon that was assumed dead after the fight. He was known as the greatest warrior in his community, and was ashamed he couldn't save his home from the wrath of the demon, so the skull hides him, protecting him from his own guilt.

Congrats, they're yours! It was a really hard choice between your entry and Nixon's entry as I liked both of them and both would have worked well with the character as they outlined a clear reason why they wear the skull. I decided to go with yours as I thought it would make a bit more sense with the fact that it's held in place by the vines, which would need to be cut or pulled/moved to take off the mask (in the picture it's shown that at least one vine has grown into the mask, and that's only one side, so who knows how many more vines are growing into it from the other side).
