Lichencloud is like water. Calm, inviting, and peaceful. But there's always a strength to water, a force that can be surprising and catch you off-guard. Lichencloud may be generally chilled out, but she is not one to be taken advantage of. She is most bothered by those who believe that a quiet and relaxed feline is one who is weak, especially because it isn’t true. Given that both she and her sister are less-inclined to be vocal, she knows what it's like for others to try and push them into doing something she doesn't want to do.

Initially, she didn’t know how to respond; she’d just do it to have a drama-free life. Then she thought that she had to prove that she was physically strong and loud – nobody can push an extravert into doing something, right? Her mentor opened her eyes to a different path. He was reserved – chipped in with only what was necessary. But he was strong. Cowcloud was no pushover, and would quietly yet clearly explain why he wouldn’t stand for bullying or blackmail. It helped Lichencloud see that there was more to being strong than being able to beat a cat in a fight, or being bubbly and talkative.

Now, when Lichencloud is bothered by this, she'll make it overtly simple, only using her words. "A river can be gentle and slow-moving, or it can rush through with a great force. I'm quiet, but I'm not weak, so don't think that. I’m strong.”

eagletail is a very calm cat most of the time but there is one thing she hates seeing.
that one thing is cats being disrespectful to other cats. when a cat disrespects another clanmate she will shake her head and walk away.when a cat takes more than their share of food she quietly glares at them. the one thing she will never do is speak up. every cat has their own opinion so she keeps quiet about what she thinks, even though it might help she is scared of what cats would think.

she wishes every cat could be kind and friendly but her dream could never come true. all cats are different in their own ways, some cats are always kind and others can be bitter and rude. Every cat has their own problems, ideas and enemies. even eagletail has her enemies, she just keeps to herself.

brackenwhisper is most bothered by the ignorance of other cats. she understands purposeful ignorance - when you are specifically ignoring an annoying kit, say, or the fact that you have to talk to your leader later. but the ignorance where you simply don't bother to notice things? that drives her crazy.

to her, ignorance is the key way a cat can get themselves killed. you ignore clan rules and step into wolf territory? you're dead. you explore a twoleg boat and it takes of, leaving the island? you're as well as dead. you don't notice the sudden quieting of birdsong, or the soft pawsteps behind you? you're dead.

however, brackenwhisper was also trained to notice every single detail, and she knows not all cats can do what she does, though this is the one - and only - fact she chooses to ignore.

Treetail stared at the apprentices, annoyed. Stories? Why bother him with stories? He couldn't be bothered to reach back into his memories and tell kits just for them to forget. Bothersome, annoying and attention-craving young kits. How annoying. Thank the stars Treetail never needed to care about kits. A few kits ran up to Treetail, giggling. Treetail could swear his stomach had just fully twisted.
"Treetail! We brought you a mouse! We... We caught it ourselves!" The kit raised its chest fur, even though it was obviously a warrior had caught the mouse. Treetail urged himself to snap at the kit for bothering him, but the fact it was for a mouse lessened the hate.
"Thanks." Treetail croaked, muttering.
"Treetail... why don't you like kits?" The annoying part.
"Little kit, I am not in the mood for your antics, I accepted your gift, now leave." The kit frowned, tail drooping. Every day that kit returned with a gift until they were apprenticed. They would visit Treetail, cleaning out his fur. Each and every day Treetail would be so cruel, but determination overruled. This cat became a warrior - Oakpelt. Oakpelt, the most determined cat in the clan, managed to get Treetail's trust. The one thing Oakpelt hates - It's when cats are treated unfairly for their age or some other strange reasons. Oakpelt confronts them with reasoning, but not just reasoning, a story. A story of how he befriended even the grumpiest cat.

Prompt;; Otterpaw is rather calm and knowledgeable for his age, but there's one thing that makes him break and completely lose it. Something that will make him snap out in anger at other cats for assuming it. That one thing? It's assuming that he knows everything there is to know about herbs.
As a medicine cat apprentice, he still has a lot to learn and often becomes annoyed that while in panic, cats think he automatically knows everything. Come on, who is he? The medicine cat? Shouldn't they go to her instead and him second? Even just the thought of it makes his fur bristle and his lip curl, into the beginnings of a snarl.
He couldn't handle this. At these times, it would make him question if he really did make the right choice in his position. Perhaps being a warrior could have been better? Maybe he could have escaped this.

Sometimes he just needs a break from all the constant questions about herbs and what they do.
Sometimes he feels the need to escape it all. This is when Icewing, his mentor, will realize that like herself, he doesn't quite know everything and sometimes needs time to reflect on things.
In these times, they will go on a walk together to the lake and have a good conversation about things together, gazing into the icy blue water. Her guidance will always be reassuring to him, despite his anger towards other clan members that think he knows everything. (248 words)

Often are the days when Ridge will have a nap and mull over everything. Disagreements are common in the clan, raised voices echoing around the tunnels with a vengeance. But Ridge doesn’t find her most hated cat among the ranks of cats in the clan, nor could she ever talk about what annoys her the most to anyone else, for the thing that irritates her the most is herself. Every time she sees the surface runners coming back laden with prey, she wonders why all she can ever seem to catch is a measly mouse or shrew. Whenever her inadequacy gets too much for her to handle, she will hide away in her den for the remainder of the day and tucks it away to the back of her mind with a mental note to deal with it later. Her disappearance can have consequences with her mentor, but she tells herself that it’s worth it because she can deal with her thoughts. Of course, hiding from everything isn’t a failsafe solution to all her problems, but she believes it is.

One day, it won’t be.

"No, that's all wrong!" Silverpeak criticized as Rockheart tried the move Silverpeak had been teaching in Brightclan's battle move workshop. Lately, Silverpeak had been teaching instead of Vervainstrike, who was surprisingly more patient with him. It was a nightmare. Rockheart would love to snarl at him and shoot back an angry retort or two but it wasn't worth it. And he didn't have the guts to do it. He resigned himself to try the move again until Silverpeak spoke up again.

"Dragonfly, come here and show him how it's done!" Silverpeak called out. Rockheart could hardly believe his ears. Silverpeak was going to have a cat barely more than half his age teach him battle moves? His pelt felt hot with rage. He was vaguely aware that Dragonfly had already performed the move, but Rockheart had been so angry that he wasn't paying attention. He forced himself to breathe deeply so that he didn't explode into a rage.

"Well? Rockheart?" Silverpeak asked. "Are you gonna try it or not?"

"Sure." Rockheart responded in a forced cheerful voice and proceeded to inevitably fail at the move again. He just had to keep pushing his anger further and further down.
