Welcome to my first art competition!
I have an active imagination that I use to create art and stories. I use a lot of planets in these stories and I'm just running out of ideas for new planets at this point. Hence, this art competition! So, without further ado, let's get into the rules and regulations, shall we?
RULES:
1) Tess rules apply
2) You do NOT have to use the base I have provided! You can make your own. However, if you do make your own, I'd like it to at least resemble the format of the planet I will post at the end of the rules section.
3) DO NOT STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S PLANETS OR MY OWN; this is art theft and this kind of behavior will NOT be tolerated (you will be reported and be forcefully removed out of the competition).
4) All planets must come with a name, a made-up ID (could literally be anything, as long as it's appropriate and includes both numbers and letters, like the picture below these rules), number of moons, planet type (gas, water, terrestial, desert, ice, etc.), a native planet species, and a chance of habitability (for example, if we Earthians were in dire need of a new planet, how high are the chances of us being able to live there? Very high, high, medium-high, medium, medium-low, low, very low, impossible). Again, for an example of this, look at the picture below.
5) If your planet comes with a story, cool, but it will not count towards this competition.
6) There will be three winners (may change depending on amount of contestants; will only increase if I decide to change it). If you do not win, you may keep the planet that you make. If you win, I will be keeping your planet and everything attached to it, however, I will credit you if I ever post it anywhere. I don't think I will, though. This will be mostly for my personal use (I like to keep things organized in my headspace and I like to imagine things in extreme detail).
7) You may only create up to three planets. If you create more than that, all others you create beyond your initial three will be ignored.
8) Winners will be chosen based on planet and planetary information alone. You do not have to be a "good" artist to enter (really, everyone's a good artist in their own way anyway).
9) Try to make your planet a planet that could actually exist. For example, do NOT make a dwarf planet with three moons that could easily be bigger than the planet itself. Even if you have a "valid" reason for it being that way, I would prefer a planet that could literally exist either inside or outside the Milky Way.
10) While we're on the subject of the Milky Way, you may make a planet outside of the Milky Way. If you do that, I would prefer that you name the spiral/universe that you put it in. For the case that I'm using the planets for, this universe can be made up or already exist (for example, the Naruto and Supernatural universes are actually valid. How would they exist? Well... you doubt my mind >:D)
11) Please only make one planet per post (do not make more than one planet in one post; it will confuse me).
12) DO NOT DELETE MY SIGNATURE.
13) Please PM me the link to your completed planet if you make your own base or post it below if you used a different program.
14) This is getting rather long, so I'll just add more if I need to later and tell you to have fun :)

Another thing; there are several options included in the editable that you can and cannot see at the moment. Here's the options that you will be able to see if you join:
-4 different background options (sun, colorful stardust, stardust, just stars; think logically: if you are making an ice planet, don't use the sun background unless you give a proper explanation of how it can survive there) If you want to make your own background, you can
-4 different planet sizes (large, medium (shown above), small, dwarf)
-3 moons per planet size (could mix and match if size ratio makes sense; you are allowed to move the moons if necessary) All of the moons have their own separate layer
-Separate 'light' and 'shadow' layers for all of the different planet sizes
-Layers are organized and labeled and have labeled dividers that start and end with '--'
TIP: If you don't want to wait for more than a minute while the entire file saves to the server, delete every other layer that you are not using. DO NOT DELETE OR HIDE MY SIG LAYER.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's planets!
