Welcome to BUCK
Buck is a closed species adopt based heavily on world building and development.
To join BUCK, fill out a founder form and level up to be able to gain more herd members. Your herd can have any kind of hierarchy and ranks that you choose, feel free to get creative!
Adorfera herds traditionally have one male leader (your founder) and is otherwise made up of mostly females, only having other males in the herd on rare occasions.

General Rules
•You can only claim your founder once, if you do not get to level 1 in a month he will be readopted.
•Your herds can have more than one leader but you can only get one founder.
•Please do not post your founder form more than once! It will be claimed as soon as possible.
•This lineart is NOT free to use. Only artists will be added to the lines.
•Do not message staff members to ask them to do a custom or breeding for you! When slots open it will be posted on the thread so everyone has a fair chance.
•No rudeness, harassment, or mini-modding please!
•Art must be at least cleanly lined (unless linesless) and colored to count for level ups or breedings.
•Writing must be at least 200 words.
•Keep your herd organized on a thread or website.
• Adorferas are a CLOSED SPECIES, you cannot make your own! NPCs are allowed to further the plot but they cannot play a major role.
•You can only have one herd until you reach level 10. After that you can make another, and once that herd is on level 10 you can make one more. Maximum of three herds.
•There is a 1 month cooldown after getting an adorfera til you can trade it.
•You can only order a breeding once a month, the same rule goes for customs.
•Calves can be grown one month after getting them.

Artist Rules
•All Main adopts must be Female, the male lines are only used for founders or customs. Milestone adopts can also be male.
•Feel free to give out HMs and RUs, just make sure any runner ups are done in a timely manner.
•Stick to realistic designs and markings! Colors are more lenient as long as it’s semi-natural.
•You must make at least 3 main adopts per month, though more is encouraged.
•Guest artists can make 5 adopts, after that they will be PMed if they are made into artists.
•Guest artists can only do main adopts, no customs, breedings, or founders.
•If you make an adopt, custom, or breeding of a calf adorfera, you are responsible for growing it.
•Artists Get one rare custom and a monthly normal custom.

Leveling Up

Leveling up is required to grow your herd! You must complete 3 tasks for each level and post on the archive update thread to go to the next level. A staff member must approve your level up before it counts.

Level 0:
You start here! You can only have one adorfera at this stage, your founder.

>Make your clan thread
>Get to know the community while you wait for your founder!

Level 1:
At this stage you can have a max of 1 adorfera. If you don’t pass this level within a month your herd will be readopted.
>Give your founder a personality and history, 100 words each.
>Draw or order art of your founder
>Describe your herd’s territory.

Level 2:
Now that you’ve successfully made it here, you no longer have to worry about your herd being readopted. You can now go at your own pace. You’re limited to 3 herd members.
>Write or draw about your leader meeting their first herd member.
>Describe your herd’s religion.
>Give one clan member a history and personality, 100 words each.

Level 3:
At this level you have a max of 6 herd members.
>Draw or write what a normal day in your herd’s daily life.
>Write or draw about a meeting in the herd.
>Write or draw about how your herd feels about your leader.

Level 4:
You have a max of 10 adorferas.
>Write or draw about a clan member encountering a predator!
>Give a herd member a personality and history, at least 100 words each.
>What is your herd’s relationship with humans? Can be drawn or written in at least 50 words.

Level 5:
Max of 12 adorferas.
>Describe your herd’s reputation, use at least 50 words.
>Write about why your herd lives where it does. Do your members like the location?
>How does your herd deal with predators?

Level 6:
Max of 15 adorferas.
>Give one clan member a history and personality, 100 words each.
>Write about why this herd was first created.
>How does your herd view tame adorferas that work with humans?

Level 7+
At every level up from here fill out the tasks below to get +3 adorferas.
>Give two clan members a history and personality, 100 words each.
>Write or draw a scene of your choice.
>Draw or order art of 3 of your adorferas.
