Smoketide has grown quite the fondness for observing seagulls, such silly birds. The constant noise is quite annoying and leads to them being eaten mmm tasty but watching a whole flock fighting over a single fish is a sight to see. He finds himself observing them for hours before making them his meal. Sometimes he'll sneak and steal the fish they are fighting for just to sit back and watch their confusion! Haha dumb birds they are...

Ashbelly's favorite bird to watch is probably the white stork. This is because of their gorgeous coloring and large beaks. He admires the amount of food they can eat in a single sitting. That's one thing the two creatures have in common. They both have large bellies and a constant hunger.

Prompt:Jaegerwing's favorite bird is the Long Tailed Jaegerbird, otherwise known as the Long Tailed Skua. They are both hearty and fierce, having the stamina to fly for long stretches at a time above the icy seas and the ferocity to fight to the death for their territory.

He likes observing them because of the tall tales his birth mother used to tell him about them. To the small nomadic group, these birds were the spirits of their relatives who have died and came back to keep an eye on them. Somehow it gave him a sense of comfort knowing that they were all there with him so he would never truly be alone.

Mira loves robins. Her explanation makes some cats roll their eyes, thinking that perhaps she doesn't quite understand that what she says is impossible. Mira tells them that she only see one robin over and over again, every day, multiple times a day. She says that it is her friend checking in on her, making sure she's alright and faring well in the clan. No one can tell her otherwise. Mira knows it because she made a promise to this friend - they would never leave each other alone anywhere.

His name was Robin, and it is perfectly fitting that he would choose the bird of his namesake to check on Mira with. She knows that Robin is still with her through the robins of this world, and even if the other cats scoff at her belief, Mira feels the truth in her heart.

Robins will always be her favorite.

Prompt: Thunderear loves watching barn owls. Their lighter coloration compared to many of the darker colored birds found on the territory. It makes him want to become more like that. A better hunter for his clan.

Riverstone loves hummingbirds. Especially the ruby throated hummingbird. It isn't often that you see creatures that colorful and unique. She thinks everything about the hummingbird is adorable, from its tiny body and constantly flapping wings, to its long skinny beak. Riverstone considers it a sign of good luck whenever she sees one zoom by.

Prompt: Stormthistle's favourite bird is the black-winged stilt for pure aesthetic reasons. Storm doesn't like the taste of the stilts, and can happily admire the unique black and white patterns each bird holds. Storm loves to watch them walk around but with their tall legs she can get a bit uncomfortable because it looks .. wrong. Despite that, Storm enjoys watching the birds do their own thing, and it's a good pastime to engage in - you aren't bothering anyone but yourself.

Prompt:
The lyrebird is Cinders favourite by far.
She's taught to lyrebirds how to say some basic words using her voice. She'll sit in tress after teaching the birds some phrases, calling some of her friends towards them, only to watch and laugh at her friends disgust when the Cinder calling them is discovered to be the devious birds. They aren't optimal for hunting and as such there are quite a few of them wandering through the territory, ready to be taught how to call their leader, Kestrel Flying stuck up- or to call her sister stupid.
