I found out what was happening in class. I pulled up the news livestream on my phone and watched with all of the prayers in mind as the age old cathedral burned. It was absolutely devastating and my heart dropped each hour the fire continued.

I found out what happened when my dad told me. It was a really rough day for me yesterday (had a tough day at school/sports before hearing the news of the fire), and hearing the news that the pipe organ survived this morning really made me happy. I was listening to 'God help the Outcasts' from the Hunchback of Notre Dame for the time it took to draw this. Hearing the hymns everyone was singing was also really haunting to me.
