Snap Heads

What are Snap Heads?

Snap Heads are small child sized creatures that roam around abandoned places. They are made of a soft clay like substance that can be molded into pretty much anything. To protect their soft bodies from harm they have adapted magical/sentient hats called Snaps that covers most of their head. These hats are sentient and work symbiotically with the Snap Head,including providing it with food,eyesight and defense from predators. The hat often fuses with the Snap Head and snaps it’s mouth open and shut if threatened hence its name.

What about their eyes?

Snap Heads don’t typically have eyes where they should be,instead they have deep holes that drip an inky substance that seems to flow endlessly. Their actual eyes are the small reptilian ovals on the side of the hat which change color depending on their mood.

Offspring and Sexuality?

Snap Heads breed during all seasons and they typically produce 1-3 offspring each breeding session. Young Snap Heads are very fragile and well guarded by their parents. The offspring stay with their parents for life and form big family groups which never separate. Amazingly Snap Heads can reproduce no matter what gender they are.

Diet

Snap Heads are omnivores and will eat anything they can find. Their digestive system has no limitations on what they can’t eat.Each Snap Head has its opinion on food so if it refuses to eat something they don’t like it.

Habitat

Snap Heads will live anywhere as long as the temperature suits their liking. Each individual Snap Head has its opinion on what kind of habitat it likes.

Rarities

Snap Head have no rarities! They are all fairly common however some colors/genes may be liked by owners more than others.

Is this an open species?
Can I breed them?

Unfortunately no sorry. But I’ll have BABY SNAP HEADS UWU available for adoption every now and then. These will be permanently babies so you can enjoy their eternal Cuteness forever uwu

How often are these going to be made?

Probably at random since I have school and I procrastinate a lot. I’m on cs,fr,and Dragon cave randomly.

Can Snap Heads be different animals other than that crocodile thing?

Yup but their harder to draw for me so they will pop up randomly.
