Why is this Kiragon wearing a mask?: Arius was always a healthy little Kiragon as a child but later on in his life he got a horrible germ infection, Affecting a quarter of his face. He was turned paranoid and started wearing a mask to protect himself from the dirty world, Just like Plague docters wouls do.

Why is this Kiragon wearing a mask?: A terrible scar. Ugly face. Crooked tooth. Anxiety problems. When Kii was still a small child, he was attacked by a stray dog (yes, a dog.) The dog was pathetic, but so was Kii. He was playing hide and seek with his friends, hiding inside a box. But he didn't notice the dog in it, nor did he understand what was happening when his cheek was bitten. He tried to run, but the box was sealed shut. The injuries were so bad, they couldn't heal anything; they couldn't fix his body, and they couldn't fix his terror. Kii was ashamed of himself, and his friends couldn't help him either. So that resulted in a mask, which he would hide his face and his fear.

Why is this Kiragon wearing a mask?: He's a part of a cosplay group he founded as a child, where they wear masks, supposedly representing how they feel on the inside as they go and share their artwork marks they've made in galleries, this mask he's wearing just seems to be his favorite.

Why is this Kiragon wearing a mask?: Azalea is wearing a mask because...it’s fun!
He doesn’t have a real reason as to why he wears it, maybe it’s because he loves scaring other kiragon’s. Or simply because it makes him happy. He made the mask with his brother before his brother sort of.. disappeared. It holds a great meaning to Azalea but like I said, he doesn’t have a real reason as to why he wears it as much as he does.

Why is this Kiragon wearing a mask?: Ladybirds.
He lives in constant fear of them landing on his nose. They're just so small and red, who those terrifying black dots. And they're larvae eat aphids! So scary. Anthony doesn't care that others say it's irrational and they can't hurt you, but he refuses to take the mask off.

Why is this Kiragon wearing a mask?:
The tribe of the masked people was believed to have been long dead lithe caverns underneath the forest. The whole tribe masks themselves until they are mated. Their faces are covered at birth to stop their potential lovers from falling for their looks rather than their personality.

It is a tradition long forgotten by the Kiragon species that the tribe keeps alives. Anong however wishes to break tradition and so she will leave her home. The moment the sun hits her face she wishes to reveal herself and live a life free of masks. She wishes to continue to break traditions as well.

Congratulations Meraki~! I really liked the concept of such a tribe living and keeping such a tradition alive. The prompt sort of reminded me of when Kovu was exiled ;3
