How did it get there?: He's hiding from others because he's afraid he's going to end up hurting someone. His poison is brightly-colored, which means that he is potentially deadly to some creatures, and the last thing he would want is to hurt someone or something else.
How will you get it down?: I'll offer to help him find a way to be around others! It's sad that he distances himself, and I could create/find something that will allow him to be social without the worry of accidentally poisoning someone.

How did it get there?: 'A bet. It always starts with a bet.' Nettle scoffed at his own idiocy. His siblings had bet that he couldn't climb to the top of the tree in under three minutes. Nettle made it to the top in under two minutes, though it was a lot higher up than he had thought from the ground. Nettle was afraid of heights.
How will you get it down?: I to had a fear of height once, just like him. When his siblings scampered off I showed myself. I began to beckon him done, convincing him he had wings and that I would catch him. It took awhile, but he finally jumped. His descend was anything but graceful, yet he was down and in my arms safely.
