welcome to the land of critoz!
the critoz region is a place with many new faces - creatures called luxara
the land of critoz exists in another universe to humans, and so luxara have made their own lives!
there are plenty of mysterious dungeons that keep on popping up - who knows how or why?
will you and your team successfully conquer them?
will you be rescuers, explorers, thieves, or something else? what will your team goal be?
step into the critoz region to begin your adventure!

rules --

-Follow cs rules
-Please credit the artist for the design and art, and me for the species
-Please be nice - no pestering any staff! this means be nice to one another too, of course
-Please do not revamp designs without permission [see the section on revamping]
-If you are banned from MAC/cs, you are able to keep your Luxara, but these MUST be transferred to another species.
-You may order 1 custom per month.
-The limit on Luxara is discussed in a post below.
-Failure to provide adequate information for your first free starter within two weeks of them being made will result in your starter being readopted. You will be notified before the two week period is up. This primarily applies if you have been active on CS and have read the PM.
-Please see the selling/trading post for information about selling rules

staff --

-Staff members can claim a free custom per month! [as well as the paid one] However, you must have been actively doing your job in order to claim this custom!
-Staff members will be able to get a special Luxara during their birthday month
-Inactivity without checking with me may result in removal of your position. However, this depends on circumstances [generally, inactivity itself does not bother me, but the lack of communication does]
-Designs can have any colour palettes or markings BUT the elemental class and physical features MUST stay the same!
-Complete any custom orders within a reasonable time [2-3 weeks max, exceptions for different circumstances]
-Competitions should be judged in a month from the closing date. Please let me know if you cannot judge them
-Please try to provide a palette for their designs!
-All customs and starters are to start at level 5. Luxara from breedings are to start out at level 1. Adopts may be any level. [this does not refer to the level of the users team!]

here you can order a starter for your team! typically, this will be your team leader - but you're free to make ranks however you wish!

there are 18 total "starter" luxara to choose from - one of each elemental class! i highly recommend checking out each of them, as well as their evolutions!

In order to encourage development, this ARPG has levels!


• Written scenes must be at least 300 words.
  
• Drawn scenes must show at least a halfbody and a background.
• Character art should be a flat-coloured headshot at the very least.
• Personalities/histories should be at least 300 words.

customs --


• You may only order 1 custom a month
  
• Even if you have still not received your custom for last month, as long as it is a new month you can order another custom
• Please send the payment to the artist when you're available to do so. You will not officially own them until the payment is sent/complete
• Colour palettes and markings may be different. Your custom may have scars. They may have accessories
• Your custom may not have different physical attributes or different elemental classes.
• You may only order a first stage Luxara as a custom [so, it cannot be of any evolved forms]
• Customs may not be of milestone Luxara or myths
• Please check the artist bulletin to see what they will accept for a custom

selling, trading and gifting --


• You must own a Luxara for a month before selling/trading/gifting to another user.
  
• You must post so in the archive with the correct form, and on the Luxara's page with new information.
• The level on the Luxara must stay the same
• You may only sell a Luxara for the amount you paid for originally as well as the cost of any art/development/etc
• Transfers may only occur between two members who are level 1 at the least
• Please wait for the cooldown before opening up the Luxara to offers

readopting --


If you can't connect to your Luxara or you don't want to participate in MAC anymore, yet your Luxara has not had the month cooldown, readopting is a great option!

How this works:

• You must either PM/DM me or the artist who made your Luxara, or, alternatively, post that you want a Luxara readopted on their thread. if the artist is inactive, please pm/dm me
  
• Please be clear about which Luxara you want readopted
• Either the original artist or another staff member will set up the readoption contest
• A staff member will then judge it.

evolution --


• Evolution is completely optional. You do not have to evolve your Luxara if you don't wish to do so.
  
• Only evolution through levelling up will apply here.
• Your Luxara must reach a certain level before they can evolve, if at all. Please check the Luxara guide for this information for particular Luxara.
• Please be patient. Your artist will essentially have to draw your Luxara all over again

revamps --


-If you want to revamp a design, please PM me with how you plan to revamp it. I will say whether I personally believe it's okay.
-Please then ask the original designer, and tell them with how you plan to revamp the design
-If the artist says its okay, you may revamp the design
-I/the artist will then approve it
