when the world turns white and the sea becomes solid the mossflower warren has certain protocols in place to deal with the dropping temperatures. the rabbits will bring moss and dried nesting material into the deep hoard tunnels all fall and when the white time comes will collectively build a large nest in the deep heart chamber, where all of them sleep together to share body heat. often times they won't leave there burrow for days at a time waiting out the cold.
