✤ What are Dholejacs?
The Dholejac (Vulpes cornutum), also known as the Horned Fox, Fox Deer, or Kima, is a fox native to Tundra, Arctic, and Flatland regions throughout the world. It is well suited to colder environments, however, a short-hair Dholejac can sometimes be seen wandering further south than it's northern cousins. On average, Dholejacs typically live 6-7 years in the wild, and its body length ranges from 70 to 90 cm.
The Dholejac gets its name due to the body being that of a fox, more specifically the Dhole. The horns on top of it's head are similar to that of a Muntjac, giving it it's mixed name. The Dholejac belongs to a family of hybrid animals which include the Jackalope, and the Griffin. As it is a hybrid of a carnivorous and herbivorous animal, naturally the Dholejac would be omnivorous. It typically preys on small creatures such as fish, seabirds, voles, mice, and hares. It also eats cloudberry, blueberry, crowberry and other various northern berries. During the breeding season (December - February), the Dholejac form monogamous pairs and stay together to raise their young in underground dens. Natural predators of the Dholejac include polar bears, grizzly bears, golden eagles, wolves, and hawks.

Breaking any of the following rules will result in 1 warning. 3 Warnings = Ban
⊳ Purchasing or selling Dholejac for any type of payment (art, currency, etc.) is prohibited.
⊳ Dholejacs are a closed species. Non-staff users are not permitted to create their own Dholejac adoptable.
⊳ Roleplaying Dholejacs is permitted.
⊳ Whether it be staff or other users, always be kind and calm. Spam/harassment is not permitted and can be punished by a warning or a ban (3 warnings). This includes begging for Dholejacs.
⊳ There may only be one owner per Dholejac.
⊳ Please do not mini-mod any of the threads.
⊳ Please contact me (Lavellan.) if you are planning on making any Dholejac related threads. This includes roleplays, fanclubs, etc. This is mainly so that I can attach them to the main page.

Staff Rules
⊳ Staff may not accept payment as an entry for a Dholejac
⊳ All staff are permitted up to 3 custom Dholejacs.
⊳ Guest Artists are allowed to create 1 Custom. If they are later hired as a full artist, they can only make 2 more customs.
⊳ Artists can hold any types of compettition for their designs. This includes raffles, art contests, impress mes, etc.
⊳ Make sure lineart is coloured using lockalpha
⊳ Please colour background and border based on eye colour (background - lighter, border - darker)
