Shadowkit is a young kit just waiting to grow up. Upon stumbling across a wandering prophet as he was on his way back from a night walk (his parents did not know he was out), the old tom saw what a cat the young kit would become and prophecized his rise to leadership. The old prophet told the little kit that he would always be there to watch the young leader grow up, as long as the kit promised to visit this same place whenever he could. Of course, Shadowkit kept his promise, all the way through Shadowpaw and Shadowpatch, until he became Shadowstar, where he had to say goodbye to his old friend as the prophet passed away during his last visit.
