For the longest - I've struggled with how my lines look to the point of frustration
and today I tried to use chrome instead of edge and it was far easier to get my lines to look how I want them to

What you see in my previous work are the products of many hours spent tediously erasing...

Size 2 brush for both, and I did not erase (to make points) for a fair comparison

edge -
wonky line thickness!!
pen pressure only,, kinda works????
Not easy to make nice points, have to use eraser a lot if I want those? ? (Didn’t use it here)

chrome -
much better, consistent line thickness corresponding with the pressure I put
Lines are a little less opaque than I’d like but not a huge issue
Easy to make nice points
More line variety!! can be very thin

I've never tried chrome for drawing and this prompted me to, it is really much smoother to use, though I'm finding the way the cursor disappears whenever I press down to be annoying since I lift my pen quite often and it bugs my eyes to have it pop up and disappear repeatedly.

THIS HAPPENS TO ME TOO!! solidarity...I haven’t found out how to fix it;; But for me still, chrome is marginally better just for the smoothness so I’ll keep at it
