You're welcome for the nightmare fuel
I don't know how to human
any feedback appreciated
I tried to go for a cartoony look?
We're going to ignore the freakish nightmare hand.
I didn't really try on that.
SO...you wanna know why I drew this? What this means? Shush, yes you do. I made
this because my Mom is great, and I don't deserve her. XD
So, I was looking through my Mom's yearbook from Highschool. It's fun to look at since she went to the
same high school that I have. But, more than anything else I love reading what her friends wrote. It's
always super weird, punctuated with inside jokes and just general teenage nonsense. But I noticed
a pattern occuring. Everyone kept calling her either "Rockie" or her name with "rock" after it. One of
her friend's notes said, "stop talking to rocks, they're not real and neither am I. Just kidding". The
next said "P.S. I want my rock". Another, "I like your pet rock". This was a general trend throughout
most of what her friends' words. So, of course, I had to ask her what in the world that meant. It's a short
little story, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. She said to me:
"Well, you know how I was in flags? Well we had competitions about every weekend. Sometimes we
would have to wait hours for our turn. And you know me, I don't like waiting. So, I started talking to rocks
to entertain everyone."
Yeah, honestly that's the whole story, but I loved it. Also, I'm not doing much justice to it since half
of it being funny was her funny voice she made to accompany it.
