The teasing laughter cut deep, and Crystal pushed herself harder to keep up with the other kits but stumbled and tripped over her own paws.

" she's to small to be out here!"
"Send her back to kit garden she's to pathetic to be with us big kits!"
" she cant even walk without falling over, she needs more than just kit garden.. she needs to go back to preschool"

These were just a few hurtful words she overheard the others laughing as she pushed herself out of the dust ~ I can't help it that is smaller then you~ She thought sadly.

She took a deep breath ~ But I will show them that I'm not a weakling~ she thought as she planted her paws on the rough ground and lowered her head. Pushing off with her hind legs she prepared herself to run.... only to wind up faceplanting the ground.

The laughter continued even louder this time.

At the end of the class, she waited till everyone left the schoolyard and she returns to the running yard ~ I will become the best. And I won't let their laughter and taunting get to me~ She thought.

Over the course of the next month, Crystal would practice in secret every day after school, she would go home bruised and scratched but even with her parents begging her to stop she continued.

The day she had been dreading came, yet another test of endurance. She put herself in the center of the group and waited.

" Hey tiny you going to run home crying again?" One older Kalion Tainted her

"Yah maybe she won't even hear the starting call and just stand here" its friend laughed

Crystal lowered her ears but ket her mind on the task... When the start was called she leaped forward and bounded past the group, not realizing how much muscle she had built up over her training sessions..

Leaping over the finish line she slid to a stop, looking behind her at the shocked looks of amazement from the others. She simply smirked and trotted off the field and plopped down on the bench, still smirking.
