Man-made things and citylike figures are not something Willo wishes to come in contact with, but something whose voices carry their name.

Actaeon never wanted to be remembered before, He always wanted to fuse into the crowds and stay as just a number. He didn't want to be anything until he heard those stories...the rainbow hunters. In college, he heard about a group of vimerias who were sent out into the wilderness to track down a rainbow. They were never heard from again, and their story was said as an urban legend. Actaeon didn't believe it was just an story, however. He had packed up his bags, abandoned his higher learning, and left to find the rainbow hunters.

He left in any direction where he saw a rainbow, and when that rainbow faded he'd continue on that path until another rainbow appeared. He let nothing stand in his way, not any mountain, not any river, and especially not any weather. That was his downfall. The rainbows he chased brought him into a blizzard, and even with his perseverance, there was no way he could fight the elements of the storm. However, unlike the rainbow hunters from the stories, he was found, barely clinging to life. He was brought to a hospital, where his family eventually found him. Actaeon originally blamed his father, claiming that he killed him on purpose. He knew the truth, however, and though he would never say it aloud, he knew what he wanted to be remembered for. He knew what he wanted to be remembered as.

A fool, He wanted to be remembered as a fool who believed that fantasy could become reality. He wanted to be a symbol of despair, telling all who knew of his tale that you could never follow your dreams. His ghost went to learn that he never would be seen as a fool, but a poor soul who nature killed for following his dream.

✧ prompt;; yukio is a kind-hearted and gentle soul. he is very protective of the ones he cares about, and he wants to be remembered for his good deeds. as a child, yukio often spent a lot of time rescuing and releasing injured or lost birds. one of the specific birds he remembered and held dearly to his heart was a snow bunting bird that he nicknamed frost. he had found frost lying injured under a tree as a small hatchling, it's wing broken and torn badly. yukio's gentle soul decided to nurture frost back to health. as yukio grew, so did frost. yukio cared for the bird dearly and took large amounts of time out of his day just to make sure frost was kept healthy and strong. the bird meant everything to yukio so he did everything in his power to help frost heal. after a while, when frost was finally strong enough to be re-released back into the wild, yukio was very sad to see his little friend go. but watching as frost took flight and chirped happily, yukio's heart brightened and he said farewell to his lovely feathered friend. the next morning when yukio woke up, he heard a chirping outside his window. when he got up to see what it was, frost was there, tapping on the window as if wanting to be let in; so yukio did just that. now, him and the bird are inseparable, and yukio continues to take care of frost and give him plenty of love. frost never allows yukio to leave without him and often perches on yukio's head while they are out and about which often draws a lot of attention to yukio but he doesn't ever really mind it. his feathered friend was always welcome on his head since it often kept yukio's head warm in the chilly air.
