Those words stung in my head, though I knew how the song went, because I was the one who said it. Songs are just words said in a rhyme or a way that sounds nice to the ears, while words hurt. Words just. Hurt.
… Maybe I’m the betrayer.
I growl at the thought, as I set my gaze across the rivers, and the waters beneath my paws. I step down carefully, letting the waves soak my paws. My eyes closed, but before I knew it I was somewhere else, gazing down, I felt the world flicker around me. Or… Was I imagining this.
… Innocent is a traitor.
I scream, seeing the other three cats behind me again. I let out a smile, but before I knew it there was darkness shrouding my vision, and I thought I would never see again.
The small specks of lights were all I saw, then the picture changed once again.
