Why do they have the mask?: she was attacked by a shark when she was young, and now has a scar that cover 75% of her face and she's ashamed of it

Mask design: a mask with "teeth" on the bottom making the luulo look like a drooling monster and horns on the top, it is black like the color of the luulos body with a flower like marking around the eye part of the mask and a bunch of "vines", markings connected to the flower swirling around the mask except for where the teeth of the mask is there is holes by the pointed nose area, supposedly so the luulo could breathe while wearing it, and it also elevates the monster part of the mask. Instresting enough, it seems to have been painted over from its original state perhaps

Why do they have the mask?: It started with an AI, an AI named Hana. She had lived as the assisting AI for some company for a long time until someone, who had once been her best friend, wanted to bring her to life, into the real world, not as a robot but a real luulo. Hana didnt understand why couldnt she be transferred into a robot but liked the idea anyways. To be able to actually be alive and feel and see outside of cameras. It was a distant dream that would soon become a reality to Hana. The admin whom was her best friend smiled, "Soon you will be real! Like me!" said the admin. Hana didnt know how she was going to be bought into reality but somehow felt happy and good about it. Months passed since then until the admin told her that she was finished building the machine that would make Hana a reality and that it was time. Hana knew she would have to be deactivated for a bit as the transfer begins and she didnt really like getting deactivated but soon she wouldnt have to worry about that. So she was deactivated for a bit until she woke up. But she didnt quite look like her... the admin knew this too. She stared at hana before pulling out the drive which she originally was stored in and swimming off, ordering some guards to take her to the defects room to be frozen. She did not like the result and hana cried, poison tearing running down her cheeks she swam past the robotic guards and tried to get to her former best friend but when she did, she shut the lab door and rebooted the A.I but hana didnt feel anything from the drive plugging in, hana, the original hana appeared on screen but she couldnt control this other hana, it felt like she was replaced and she began to cry more. Sirens were sounding and more guards appeared but Hana, now known as Defect kept rushing past them agressively before escaping the facility in tears. She has lost everything. Hana wondered around in darkness and shadow for a bit before finding a mask lost on the ground, she didnt really like the colors, and it really didnt match her at all. So she painted it and havent taken it off since.
