These two do actually get along fine but this was Veredis's first meeting with his brother, Akiro, or Apollo as he's called by Eternity.
Both of these two are the highest ranks of opposing celestial houses. Apollo is the leader of the house of Eternity whilst Veredis, or Achilles, is second in command to Velox.
Velox and Eternity have been at war for a long, long time. In hopes to possibly get Apollo to step down from his rank, Velox chose Veredis to become his second in command.
Sadly Apollo wasn't really phased by having to fight his brother, though he did definitely pull his punches a little.
