the spinosaurus is the largest spinosaurid known. it was a front-heavy creature that likely spent most of its time either resting or in water, and likely would have been a clunky walker that either crawled or walked on its front knuckles. Its nose was very high up on its face and the front of its snout has structures resembling the sensors found on a crocodile's snout, suggesting it hunted by sitting mostly out of water with the front portion of its snout under the water waiting for a fish to swim by, and it may have held its neck like a pelican.
